Do I really need to put the tag <JOKE> in my posts?Sorry, but Doom callously murders people that simply annoy him and he rules his people with an iron fist. Make no mistake he is a tyrant.

A comics purist I see. Just curious, did you also boycott the Dr. Strange and Avengers: Endgame movies for replacing The Ancient One with a white actor? And given that the Surfer was one of my favorite Marvel characters and I have been wanting to see him in the MCU, I will now be skipping the movie based on the unnecessary gender swap.
So agree. Definitely notched down Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings for me when they did the same thing. It had plenty of good fights, we didn't need the CGI dragons. You could practically hear the gears grinding in the last 20 minutes of Wandavision so that we could have the requisite 20 minutes of CGI fighting after hours of trippy meditations on loss and identity.
Umm, "Marvel Cinematic Universe". It's right there in the name. That has always been their point.they don't need to constantly have every movie be a part of this great crossover universe
I do wish we could have gotten something like the original Thunderbolts, but I'm not sure in today's media environment, they could ever pull off a twist like the end of issue #1, given that they're using the same team name, etc.I know it's an odd dichotomy to pair up, but I think between this and Thunderbolts I'm the most excited I've been for the MCU in a couple of years.
Please, don't mess the FF up.

I did refuse to see Dr. Strange in the theater over the whitewashing of the Ancient One in an act of pandering to China.A comics purist I see. Just curious, did you also boycott the Dr. Strange and Avengers: Endgame movies for replacing The Ancient One with a white actor?
Yup. Also, when Heath Ledger was cast as The Joker and Micheal Keaton when he was cast as Batman and Robert Downey Jr. was cast as Tony Stark. This whole discussion reminds me of when Daniel Craig was being cast as James Bond and fans were tearing down the movie before it even came out.
there's still time to course-correct; we can keep that "cinematic universe" if so desired, but we don't need constant crossoversUmm, "Marvel Cinematic Universe". It's right there in the name. That has always been their point.
