Currently we are running 5E 2024. One of my players brought a bottle of Absinthe to our last game, so that was on the table too. I'd forgotten how bad it tastes

I'm slightly confused by the OP if I'm supposed to put down what I am running or what I would run if I could run anything.
Porque no los dos?

Right now I'm running 5E (2014), but the campaign is winding down: our final gaming session will be in 2 weeks, and it's mostly epilogue. The characters are all 20th level, with top tier equipment, and they are returning triumphant to their home kingdom after a lengthy quest in a faraway land. It's all very "last 20 minutes of Return of the King" over here. So if I were to vote for what I'd be running, it would be 5E.

Our incoming DM will kick off her next campaign in April, and we will also be running 5E (2014). It's going to be interesting--nobody chose a spellcaster. So if I were to vote for what I'm going to be playing, it would be 5E.

And finally, if it were up to me and we could play anything at all between the two campaigns, we would spend the month of March playing some red-box Basic. It's been far too long since I've been through The Isle of Dread or the Keep on the Borderlands.

Our game night is tonight actually. I'm playing in my wife's 5E 2014 game as a human Shadow Sorcerer.

I think it's the 2nd time in 45 years I've played a human character.

<Edit> If it was my choice to run, I'd be having everyone try out my FrankenD&D - or B/X and the Lost City.

Saturday morning is my online 5e 2024 game, it will be session 18 in our current campaign. This one's set in an island city-state where the player characters are members of an adventuring guild trying to gain fame and fortune. We play in Fantasy Grounds.

My in-person Sunday 5e 2014 game only meets every other week, so we're off this week, but next session will be the 16th, with the group just having leveled to 5th. They're off to fight some plant monsters while waiting for some local dwarves to finish crafting some magical gear for them.

Vampire 5e tonight. We're fighting some war ghouls, but two players couldn't make it, so final death is a real danger.
