Have we talked about video games yet? A few years back, EA released Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. You play Cal Kestis, a former padawan who has spent the last few years on the planet Bracca hiding from the Empire. When he's finally discovered by Imperial Inquisitors, Cal embarks on an epic journey to reconnect with the Force and find a way to rebuild the Jedi Order. This game had a compelling story, great villains, and decent character development.

Yes the games are very good, though it is the second game (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor) that gives you such an excellent range of customization options for hair, facial hair, and clothing (in the first game all you can change is his ugly poncho). Dirtbag Cal Kestis is peak Cal.

He even gets a goth girlfriend! Truly the Jedi we should all aspire towards

I will add though that I unfortunately never finished the second game, as playing it made me extremely queasy during any of the parkour stuff (which is a lot of it).

Game was well received.

It's okay to not like things, even when they're really, really good

I'd like to say it's worth it, but I don't know you or your tolerance for queasiness. How far did you get?

Some of those Force tears were awfully difficult! I managed to get through them all eventually, but there were a few that really got me for a while. And that sequence where Merrin throws you around through those magick Force tunnel things is pretty trippy.

Yeah that's the part that really got to me. I got a bit further but that's about the most of it I could do. I think I was maybe halfway through or so?
