General star wars talk/discussion/complaining

And what did Disney do, what did Rian Johnson or JJ do? Lip service. Nothing more. Lip Service.

I'd go on an expletive lace rant here, but as I said, these forums are probably not the place for me to go on about these currently, and I'm not quite positive how to discuss it so that it doesn't become an enflamed series of posts...so...I guess the above will have to do.
I'd agree, and have already agreed that they did Finn as a character wrong. But to ascribe racial motivations to that, when (a) he's not the only one they did wrong nor sidelined and (b) there have been no indications otherwise in Rian's actions that he has any racial motivations in his directing or production or presense in popular culture seems misguided and dangerous.

I would have preferred Finn be used differently. I think it would have been better representation and more powerful if he'd had a different storyline. I think it's a shame that he didn't. But to call him a racist over that is a bridge to far for me.

I'm also not sure how much we can blame Rian. He didn't write TLJ. Kathleen Kennedy is head of Lucas film, Igers above her and apparently pushed the movies every 2 years.

Ignoring tbe chuds and drifters it seems more chaos behind the scenes. Rushed early scripts while the previous movies still being worked on.

Basically a cash grab no plan poor organization.

Have we talked about video games yet? A few years back, EA released Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. You play Cal Kestis, a former padawan who has spent the last few years on the planet Bracca hiding from the Empire. When he's finally discovered by Imperial Inquisitors, Cal embarks on an epic journey to reconnect with the Force and find a way to rebuild the Jedi Order. This game had a compelling story, great villains, and decent character development.

Pictured below: Peak Jedi look.
