Every time I go to a restaurant that's not fast food or a chain, I'll be reading the menu, hmmm this sounds good, until I come to the obligatory odd see what a great chef I am ingredient. This immediately makes it a hard pass and is annoying. Some ingredients don't and shouldn't go together.Asparagus is on the Shame Basement list, but I see Broccoli Rabe on a lot of fancy brick oven pizzas.
