I played PbP in the past, and even ran one campaign.

I played online live only a very limited times during covid years.

Nowadays I only play in person.

I dropped in-person and am unlikely to return.

Before COVID, I was an in-person purest. Only using the on-line experience for games that included my friends out of state.

COVID hit and I went 100% online. When it became possible to do in person games again, I felt a great reluctance to start it up again. After a few games, I quickly learned that I vastly prefer the comfort and convenience of playing on-line over what little benefit I received from in person games.

Part of the reason is my significant discomfort in the company of others, especially as the group grows over two or three people.

Part of it was... well, I can just walk from my kitchen to my office and play while being surrounded by all the things that bring me comfort and security in my life.

Sometimes I envy people who can tolerate groups and do group activities.

Online. We were playing in person, then switched to online during COVID. It took a couple of the guys about an hour to get to the GM's house, so online play is much more convenient for them, and allows us to have more play time.
