He's not who I would have cast, but I cannot remember the last time I didn't enjoy his work, even when everything around him wasn't as good.

More importantly, I think "naughty word Reed" is a better character and I am not sure about Pascal in that role.

It's a narrative way for writers to get around the "He died last issue" or "The guy lost a fight to some lower powered enemy."

So a Doombot is a trope in Marvel Comics. Doctor Doom would get beaten, captured, killed, whatever, but SHOCK...it's not really Doctor Doom. He's a genius scientist who has created multiple fully autonomous robotic duplicates and the heroes really just defeated one of his duplicates. They've used it pretty creatively in many stories, but that's still the basic gist.

Given this is supposed to be a multi-verse, it would totally make sense that other universe Doctor Doom is Tony Stark of that universe versus him just actually playing two totally different distinct characters. I personally wouldn't have a problem either way.

I’m slightly surprised about some exclusions - mainly Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Brie Larson, Chris Pratt, Don Cheadle, Evangeline Lilly, Iman Vellani, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Tatiana Maslany, and Teyonah Parris. Most of those have been in post-credit scenes or in concept art (Pratt, Ruffalo, and Vellani have been particularly prominent there).

Sure, you can’t have everyone, but some exclusions - given some inclusions - are weird. I can’t see how you go to Kelsey Grammer and X-Men* without Teyonah Parris. Have any of those actors definitely said they’re not available?

*On the other hand it’d be a great fake out if Cummings, Grammer, Marsden, McKellen, and Stewart were playing completely different people.
