Trash TV Secret Shame

It's not reality TV, but it was low budget supernatural trash - Poltergeist: The Legacy. It was basically Chill the TV series. So I liked it for that. And Helen Shaver.

I used to love shows kind of like that in the 1980s. Monsters, Tales from the Dark Side, and Friday the 13th the Series come to mind. Anyone remember the War of the Worlds series from the late 80s? It kind of upped the ante on what was acceptable to show on American television.

My brother had/has the first season on DvD and i watched it, I remember reading the pilot episode's novelization.

hmm, well...

I have to admit, though I'd probably disagree with them on everything from religion to politics, I had a deep addiction to Duck Dynasty.

I've really enjoyed watching the occasional Pawn Stars throughout the years.

And finally, on a recent visit throughout the US I started watching Bravo on non-travel days and got really invested in this Show called Below Deck (about all the crazy things that happen on a Yacht. You may be well behaved when you go on a Yacht and rent one out, but it seems there is absolute insanity that happens on board sometimes with the crew and others who rent yachts).

I really like Antique Roadshow - the cultural origin of some of the antiques that get brought in is fascinating

Face-Off (Syfy Channel) was another I liked

Never seen the show but the you tube shorts I have watched.

Early episodes were fun. Formulaic and repetitive after a while.

I have a deep and abiding love for the older episodes of The Great British Bake-Off. The later seasons are okay, but I much prefer the first few seasons when Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins were still hosting, Mary Berry was still a judge, and they still did little interviews with the contestants' families and cute historical vignettes about the foods being cooked.

Never let anyone tell you that switching networks is a "small" change.

Also, never let anyone tell you that TGBBO is "trash". :)

I love watching 80s WWF and 90s WCW wrestling. Like, I get that a significant portion of the people on screen died at a young age and/or are legitimately terrible people. But it's fun and theatrical and over-the-top. Not to mention, especially with the WCW, some of the jaw-dropping athleticism.
