Virtual Happy Hour (Brews & Spirits, Pics & Reviews)

At the usual Greek/Italian restaurant and I thought I might see what Greek beer they had.

I'm really not usually a lager person and I'm not sure I could tell it apart from Corona. Certainly doesn't beat the other Greek beer I had (Fix).

And a Unicorn seemed odd for the logo (would be fine if I didn't know it was Greek).

Mythos is fine, but Fix is better. I don't know if they export, but if you can ever find Santorini Brewing Company, they have some really nice beers.

Away from my usual haunts - at St. Joseph's Brewery and Public House on Indianapolis. The last keg of Hefe ran out right before I got there, but the Dark Angel Black Lager was very good and the St. Nick Baltic Porter was solid. They also had pimento cheese and jalapenos somewhere on the menu so that I could get my go to burger (and it was very good).

I don't really have a go to bar for booze. There's a couple of pub restaurant type things we return to regularly

Our regular places for the last decade or so have been brewpubs or restaurants with good bars. There are three places in our current happy hour rotation - all that brew their own stuff. (One that might sneak back in some day doesn't).

I'm travelling for work this weekend, and this is my first time in downtown Indianapolis.
