D&D (2024) WotC Unveils Dragon Delves' Eclectic Art Styles

In a short 1-minute video, Wizards of the Coast has 'revealed' Dragon Delves, the upcoming anthology of dragon-themed adventures. The video showcases the book's eclectic art styles.

Dragon Delves contains 10 adventurers from levels 1-12, each featuring a different type of dragon. The book is due out July 8th.

I love the eclectic art.

I am holding off on ordering this until we know whether the adventures really are written in the style of the ones from the 2024 DMG (in which case...I don't really need them I'm afraid).
 

So those "History of" section -- does that mean this is a FR (or other world, but let's be realistic) product? It must be right? How else could you have a written history for a type of dragon?

It might be a metatextual history - like, the history of how that dragon type has been used in D&D, across various settings and editions?
 

What's going on in that last picture (the red dragon) of the article?
I see it's a zoom of the pic on the TOC page, but can't quite figure out what that little person(?) in front of his mouth is doing, or what's in the dragon's mouth above the person?
