Overrated/Underrated Geek Media

But that's the point.
Yeah, everyone, even Arnold knows his acting is limited (and limited is probably a generous description). He appealed to people because her had a very unusual physique and screen presence, plus despite his low level acting abilities, he had charisma and developed very solid comedic timing (he went to Milton Berle for coaching). The Last Action Hero itself is designed around standard tropes. It wouldn't work if it wasn't operating on them

IDK, there is like a small nugget of an intelligent idea pack around basically a cybperpunk version of Last Action Hero since its recently been mentioned. I dont think it was good then, I dont think its good now; I think its just bad.

Snow Crash grabbed me with the opening about the Deliverator (maybe because I used to deliver pizzas). But it really started to lose me midway through. Two of my friends really loved it thought the time.

Overrated: The Dark Knight. This really should've been two different movies (The Joker Arc and the Two Face Arc) and, rather than recasting Rachel, they should've just axed the character altogether.
Agreed on the recasting (Bruce has plenty of women in his life and they could have cycled another character in) and I don't think they stuck the landing on the movie (the last 10 minutes kind of come out of nowhere), but this is still arguably the best superhero movie of all time.

Underrated: Papergirls (TV show) - this only got one season on streaming, and the first few episodes are kind of a mess, but the last few are some of the best TV of the 2020s.

Overrated: The Mandalorian - some of the episodes are fun, but the meta-plotting is terrible, reaching true absurdity in Season 3.

Unpopular Opinion but: Dune is very overated. It is good, but it isn't the divine text SO MANY sci-fi fans make it out to be.

I like Dune but I must admit the last thing I wanted to see recently were the new Dune movies

I always like the song though:

I know Arnie has that reputation. I don't think he's bad actor but he is limited in his range. Under rated comedy as he could do that as well.

Makes him better than a lot if actors tbf. He's more average than bad imho.

As you said he's self aware of his abilities.
