I am surprised I am still excited for Daggerheart

DH and SD are extraordinarily different games. I'm having a hard time seeing a lack of adventure content as the reason to choose one over the other.
Just because they are different does not mean they won't both appeal to the same person. For example, me! I like different game experiences, and generally want to use different games to get that. If I didn't, I would just play Hero all the time.

Also, I am pretty sure there will be a Shadowdark-like license for DH -- not a full SRD or anything, but a compatibility license for the community.

A person could absolutely be interested in both. Like I said, choosing one over the other (which clearly happened in @NN 's case) because one has adventure content and the other might not is a hard sell for me. That's fine though; different priorities, and some people value pre-made adventures more than others.

I don't think I've ever read something that I agree with more. Lots of different games to experience different things. And that Hero system part too. Bravo!

I am very curious about the supposed spoilers in the Daggerheart game now. Something related to a live show or their unannounced new campaign. Hmm. Juicy.
