What videogames are you playing in 2025?

I have been playing so much Warhammer I and II these last few months. I have fallen behind even on watching things like Daredevil because of it.

Somehow missed the SNES Koei Tecmo drop Nintendo Online from a few weeks back, so I've been reliving my childhood on Switch with Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV, Nobunaga's Ambition, and Uncharted Waters: New Horizons. Especially the first and third games on that list.... If you're into Simulationism and you've got Nintendo Online, you should not miss out on these

Currently playing Druidstone: The Secret of Menhir Forest. It's a mixture of tactical combat, puzzles, and RPG. The graphical style is very soothing somehow.

Somewhat tangential: a little while ago I saw an online sales page for a wire that would let you hook up (if I recall correctly) your SNES, N64, and GameCube to an HDTV. It looked pretty awesome, but a friend of mine said that while it would probably work, it would screw the aspect ratio all to hell, and that there wasn't really a good way of fixing that.

Does anyone have any insights on that? By which I mean, is that true, and is there no way to fix it?

Not sure on the technicalities, but it might be simpler to use an emulator.

I'm playing Mechwarrior 5: Clans, and while it's okay, it's getting a bit repetitive. In pretty much every battle the strategy is to have everyone in my star (squad) target my target, lather, rinse, and repeat. It doesn't help that most all the missions feel alike whether it's a patrol, you're on defense, or it's an assault.
