Kyle Brink was the last I heard. Now I'm curious, who held the title of Executive Producer of D&D before him?
Yes. His name is on some good work from the 4E era, so to me this seems fairly positive.Am I right in recalling he was primarily a 4E era contributor? Did he phase out in early 5E?
Kyle Brink was the last I heard.
I've read some scattered mention of the news and I looked him up on Linkedin. He states that he's a former Executive Producer for D&D. Does anyone know more?

Even if the next 5 years are planned out by WotC - which I think is unlikely to be true in any meaningful sense - the odds of them sticking to that plan with new people in charge seem very low. With the next 5 years being preplanned

Honestly, I think their departure makes radical shifts to tge Core Rules less likely, not more. Why? I mean yeah some adjustments are to be expected, even if JC & CP stayed, but unless everything turns to naughty word, no reason for massive changes, maybe some additions, but nothing to radical.
Of course I don't know what is in the 5 year plan so I could be wrong. I know what's coming this year & that is it.
