What videogames are you playing in 2025?

One of the best spoiler-free trips I've read is to play it with a friend. I ended up giving up on The Outer Wilds (a game that Blue Prince is getting comped to often; I've seen "Outer Wilds meets Slay the Spire" and "Outer Wilders meets Betrayal on House on the Hill") because I just couldn't figure it out, but I've been playing with my wife who is constantly pointing things out to me that I would've spent forever just running by every time. There are obvious puzzles that are obvious and start simple but get harder, but there's a lot of lore (if not progress) behind some very esoteric stuff.
That's a great idea, I dunno if I can put it into action any time soon but maybe.

I am deeply on the fence about buying it versus playing it on Gamepass (I would have to resub). I suppose I should be responsible and start it on Gamepass and if I fall in love, buy it on Steam.
As it's basically full-price, (i.e. £49.99/$59.99) I feel like that's a bit steep for a fairly basic remaster which only has minor gameplay improvements, myself, so I resubbed to GamePass. Worst case I'm likely bored of it within a month, can cancel GamePass again and wait for it to go on steep sale on Steam (which is the version I'd rather have).

Using UE5 to overhaul the graphics and the navmashes of the races among other changes, making the combat a mix of both Oblivion and skyrim, redoing all of the voice work ( each NPC has it's own unique dialog now.) is fairly basic now?

So I keep reading about gameplay changes; better combat, simpler leveling, that's all well and good. But there's a more important question: did they make Speechcraft not suck?
