What videogames are you playing in 2025?

Does CPU/GPU load increase after a certain number of Skyrim mods? I think I'm close to 50, which runs fine, but some of my NPC encounters are glitched.
It depends on the mods you have installed and your own hardware. The actual hard limit of mods is 255 (ESM/ESP files) mods and it's possible to go above that number due to some mods not being flagged as ESM but instead ESL. Like i said I currently have 310 total mods and my game is stable and running fine other than built in issues that haven't been patched by a mod or by actual patches.

Most of my mods are various animations followed by character replacers, new items, a few overhauls.
I've had like 80 Skyrim mods before and been just fine, but I've also installed just a few mods and had problems because they were incompatible or heavily used scripts or the like.

As of now my fallout 4 game has 242 total mods.

I'd forgotten how generous Oblivion gets with magic items once your level hits double digits (assuming the remaster hasn't tweaked that, which I haven't heard anything about). I was getting real tired of weight management, then I got a Sigil Stone that let me enchant a ring with 75 Feather, then just cleared out two random caves and got a whole slew of random junk such that my character's now bedazzled almost exclusively in magic gear, including useful stuff like a Detect Life helmet, a Water Breathing helmet and a robe whose Shield effect gave me a higher armour rating than all the light armour pieces I'd been wearing previously combined. Plus enough less-useful and duplicate gear to sell for a tidy sum.

I just finished Animal Well on my Steam Deck and loved it. These days it takes a special game to grab my attention for long. I loved Warhammer 40K Bolt Gun — a Doom-style 40K game. I got some distance into the original WH40K Space Marine but it got kind of repetitive and I put it down. Rogue Trader looked good but the text was small and the controls got complicated for me.

I got deep into Octopath Traveler 2 but then some of the stories got so boring and it felt like I needed to do them to level up so I stopped.

I started the original Solasta and want to give it another go.

I’m cheap so I’m waiting for other newer games to drop in price.

I've been into gaming for a year, I like trying new games, and genres, but recently I got curious about online casinos, and when I was looking for info, I found this site https://plkasynaonline.com/bonus-bez-depozytu/5-euro/ where I managed to read all about 5 euro no deposit bonuses and how different casinos work. It's pretty cool to have resources like this to read something useful before playing. I do think that such info improves the experience a lot.
I also loved Animal Well — such a unique vibe. And yeah, Boltgun was a blast, really scratched that old-school shooter itch.
Since you liked Boltgun, have you ever tried Prodeus? It's another Doom-style retro shooter but with a super slick modern art twist — might be right up your alley if you haven’t played it yet.
I don't play many games for now, started Dragon's Dogma 2 and from time to time Fortnite when I have nothing else to do

I’ll check out Prodeus

I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles DE and Balatro. Really want to give Expedition 33 and Oblivion Remastered a chance when I get time and some extra cash to throw around. It's been a great couple of years for RPG enjoyers.

The process of playing Blue Prince so far:

Day 1: Okay, this is neat, it's like Betrayal at House on the Hill
Day 2: Wait... was that there yesterday?
Day 3: Ohhhhhhh, it sounds like blueprints!
Day 5: I can go outside?
Day 7: She went missing??
Day 10: Stop giving me $#@&$!$ bathrooms!!
Day 11: Hang on... what country are we in?
Day 14: What planet are we on?!
Day 15: <sobbing> How could she?!
Day 16: Oh thank god I needed that banana so much.
Day 17: Are we... are we the baddies?
Day 19: Awesome I did the goal of the game and got credits, but like... where did everybody go?!
Day 20: Ohhhh okay so there's like fifty different things to do here, I am going to be here for a very long time aren't I?
Day 21: Okay so these puzzles are just going to keep getting harder, aren't they.
Day 23: Wait those mean something? <sigh> Let me grab my notebook.
Day 24: Wait those change each day?! <sigh> Let me grab my notebook.
Day 26: Oh crap I know what to do with this!!
Day 28: <lighting flag on fire> ¡Viva la Revolución!
Day 31: What the hell is the laundry room supposed to do?
Day 32: Ohhhhhhhhhhh
