Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

I anticipate that Mon will have Luthen killed (by Andor) and replace him, since there is no point in a rebellion that is just as bad as the Empire.
Interesting idea, but I don't think so. Andor is a killer as much as Luthen, for far less reason, thinking back to the first episode of first season.

I'm not sure I'd say it's for less reason. Rather, the reasons start out as personal instead of political. And that means he also starts out a killer on a much smaller scale than Luthen. A killer for personal reasons does things in ones and twos, almost never more. But a political killer's range is much higher...

I don't think it'll be at Mon's bidding, but it wouldn't surprise me if Cassian is faced with a similar choice to the one he faces at the start of Rogue One - allow Luthen to fall into Imperial hands, or kill him himself. And it wouldn't surprise me if Luthen approves of his decision.

Sure he is a killer, and Luthen wants to sacrifice Bex, that’s plenty of reason. Mon is not a killer, personally, but she is quite capable of giving someone else the incentive to do it for her.

I really would have loved to have gotten a full 60 episodes of Andor leading up to Rogue One. Sigh.
I would have liked that, too.

On the other hand, assuming the second half of season 2 is decent, having only two seasons of Andor makes my ideal Star Wars viewing order a reality:

Episode I: Andor, Season 1
Episode II: Andor, Season 2
Episode III: Rogue One
Episode IV: A New Hope
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

Assuming Andor sticks the landing, those will be my Episodes I through VI. No other episodes exist.

I'm excited for this weeks arc as it's written by Dan Gilroy who wrote and directed the film Nightcrawler which is one of my favourite movies of the past couple of decades.

We’re now on Yavin, and Bix is trying to get Cassian to see a faith Force healer!

Whoa! Syril nearly did Cassian’s job for him! Bye, Syril.

Hey, it’s Melshi! ✋

Bix! 😭

Kay! 😀

EDIT: Followed these three up with the Rebels S3 episode, “Secret Cargo”. A few minor continuity errors but overall it flows together nicely.

Apparently Mothma’s aide, Erskin Semaj, is named for Lucasfilm story editor, James Erskine.

Wow! A spectacular arc, it feels back to Season 1 form!

I think I missed the thing with Melshi's blaster.

I've never watched the cartoons, but I think I'll watch the Rebels episode now.
