Do you think they avoid “TV movie” because Hallmark made it synonymous with low quality?
I was thinking specifically of Sherlock. It’s technically a TV show with seasons, but each season has like three episodes, each of which is essentially a 90-minute movie.

I bet there's a spike in people watching Rogue One next week, directly after they finish the final episodes in the series.
There's a fan edit, Andor: The Rogue One Arc, which turns the movie into a trio of episodes that removes some of the silly stuff (the tentacle monster) and uses the Andor series soundtrack. It's really good.

Who was the guy who owned the blaster on Yavin? The camerawork made me feel it was a big reveal and I was supposed to go "wow!" but I didn't recognise him or the blaster. Maybe I wasn't paying attention at the right moment, or he changed his hair or something!

People on reddit who rewatched the first season recently were very excited.

And I have no recollection of who Melshi is. But he's this guy from Narkina 5's prison.

The blaster is one that Andor got off of Syril way back in episode 3 of the first season. Andor brought it to the Aldhani heist, then stashed it on Niamos in his room at the resort, then after he and Melshi escaped the prison and found their way to Niamos, Andor gave him the blaster.

Thank you, Star Wars fans, for documenting every little thing about the universe in wikis.

Yikes. Okay, yeah, I'd totally forgotten him. And other than that picture, I still have! What was his significance at the time, and what is the significance of the blaster?

(I edited this into the previous post right as you were asking the question. :D)

And yeah, as MarkB said, Melshi ends up in Rogue One (and shows up in a comic book, apparently, between Andor and Rogue One).
