Apropos of nothing, I quite liked the Andors' home on Yavin 4. It did feel a little out of place as part of the rebel base, but it was nice and roomy. Probably gets a nice breeze, which is important in the jungle.

I assumed they use deflector shield on the doors and windows to keep bugs out. Are the shields smart enough to let wind in and keep critters out? Probably.

Its a nice place, maybe the rebellion is partially funded from Vacation Rentals?

If thats the case that bell hop/ hotel front desk guys becomes a valuable asset.

Speaking of how the heck does the bell hop recognize a disguised Andor a year latter? No one else can find him but a hotel worker who has 5,000 customer interactions a year pegs him.

Give me two seasons on that guys story.

He wasn't wearing his sunglasses.

Andor asked him about the monument, and he talked about how his father died during the massacre (the one by Tarkin). I guess that caused him to really take a good look, and also brought the neccesary emotional connection to keep the memory around, unlike most guests that never ask such questions and never get him to tell personal stuff.
And hey, Andor looked dashing.

Given that the receptionist makes a point of saying "I didn't log you" its pretty clear he is aware that "Sky" is a rebel agent. So pretty good reason to remember him.
He's aware that Cassian is checking in under a ditterent name this time, and without the proper Imperial travel documentation. He doesn't know he's a rebel, he just knows he's doing something clandestine and was sympathetic to Ghorman on his last visit.

Well, he could have put two and two together, seeing that this fellow he recognized is checking in under a completely different alias. Especially with his not having the official documentation.

Edit: Just to add, I suspect that visitor traffic to Ghorman had probably dropped sharply over the year, making it even more likely he'd remember Andor (and suspect his reasons for being there).

If you watch their first meeting, it’s pretty clear the receptionist guesses approximately what he is then. He be a smart guy (and Andor is rubbish at disguise). Performance check failed, doesn’t matter, guy is on your side anyway.
