Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

Yes, The Acolyte seemed to be trying something different (while also perhaps building up to be a prequel trilogy prequel vis-a-vis Darth Plagueis). It's a shame the haters got it canceled. I mostly enjoyed it.

Low ratings got it canceled. Had potential though Qimir was fascinating. Disney botched the pacing though and made some unusual decisions.

It was kinda fun though imho. Could have been great its a shame.
Andor S2 apparently is rating well. Word got around about how good S1 is and Rogue One seems to be appreciated generally.

The thing about Andor is it seems to be breaking through into "good in its own right", finding an audience amongst people who would not normally watch Star Wars. The Acolyte couldn't do that because, although it was telling a different sort of story to the black and white good guys always win that the core fandom likes, it required an in-depth knowledge of made up jedi lore to understand. Andor's real trick was drawing on real world historical references to make the galaxy understandable to the uninitiated.

Just finished damn.
So good.

I really enjoyed the "Legacy" story arc, at least at the beginning, but . . . the Sith Empire rises again! And only a Skywalker can save us!

But I really dug the more "gray" Imperial Remnant, the embittered smuggler Skywalker, and the slick Imperial Knights with their silver lightsabers!
Legacy was an awesome Star Wars comic, both innovative AND giving the punters exactly what they want - though they had to wait for it a long time. Would make an excellent TV-series or background for TV-series.
