Hey U_K! I know this is more of a silly question, but what CR do you think Raditz would be in the 5e rules?

Challenge Rating 12

Also, what Divine Rank would a party have to be in order to take on the entire 40K Imperium solo?

Depends what you mean by 'take on' and whether you are looking for an Easy, Moderate or Difficult encounter but likely Divine Ranks 15-18 which is (fittingly) where I have the Chaos Gods.

At that level of power you would be shrugging off Planet-busting attacks so the vast majority of the Imperium's weaponry would be inconsequential.

I'd hazard a guess maybe:

Slaanesh: Divine Rank 16 = CR 76
Emperor of Mankind or Be'lakor: Divine Rank 12 = CR 60
Primarchs: Divine Rank 8 = CR 44 (Horus was boosted by the Chaos Gods)
Imperial Titan = CR 36 ish
Custodes: Divine Rank 4 = CR 28
Astartes: Divine Rank 0 = CR 12

I wanted to object to that CR 12 Raditz statement, but then again BG3 (which I assume is now official 5e material) allowed you to defeat a super duper Elder Brain the gods feared at Level 12, or was it 14?

Hey there John! :)

I am perfectly open to hearing other's opinions on how powerful this or that character 'should be'. I'm fairly well versed in numerous verses but I am sure there are many who know more about DragonballZ, Warhammer or whatever and if they can shed any insights I'll be happy to take those onboard.

Raditz can more or less tank moon-buster shots, and no sell said moon-busters. He is hypersonic (or superluminal if you go by certain dubs, but that's a stretch) and is considered a supreme weakling in his setting.
Even then however, I cannot give him a bigger number than yours since he has no resistance to mind effects or spells in general(and 5e has no infinitely scaling 'saves' due to sheer HD) so... yeah. That's a universal argument against most DBZ characters.

not saying you or correct or not, just be aware that CR 12 =/= Lvl 20. IIRC, CR 12 id more like level 20 in UK's system. That said, I think level 20 / CR 12 is to low
