I feel like we are missing a chunk of saws story. In andor 2 he has the engineer fix his equipment/root out spike and it felt like there’s a bit too f mystery when cassians friend returned
Then we get to rogue 1 and he’s very paranoid and it really feels like his scenes get cut (did he get the answers from the pilot?) .i understand why he’s paranoid but andor really brings out his character

Is older saw in rebels etc?

Also does nobody see the Death Star?

Saw does appear in Rebels, going to great lengths to try to trace the shipments of Kyber crystals to their destination, but ultimately failing.

Which answers your last question - the only people who can even find the system containing the Death Star's construction site are those who are authorised to be there.

I mean they in rogue 2 fly by theoretically the Death Star. But fast forward is the millennium falcon the first to actually see it

They do not. The Death Star is not orbiting Scarif when the Rogue One team show up. It only arrives after Tarkin is informed of the rebel attack on the Scarif shield generator. (The Death Star can travel through hyperspace; it's just never shown actually doing so.)

That being said, the folks on board the Millennium Falcon are not the first non-Imperials to see the Death Star and survive. It's all the Rebels who witnessed its strike on Scarif and then escaped.

Paranoia is a side effect of his fuel addiction. It's mentioned in Andor (which plugs a number of Rogue One plot holes).

Yes, and it explains why he was on Jedha attacking Kyber shipments. It's season 4 episode 4 if you want to catch up on it.

Events in Rebels between Andor episodes 9 and 10 explain why the Rebels are so reluctant to commit their fleet - when they do they get a couple of hammerings.

NB since the Empire is still looting kyber after the Death Star is complete, are these crystals intended for the second Death Star? (or just spares).

In Rogue One the Death Star is occasionally described inaccurately as being "fuelled by Kyber". I think the most likely explanation is that Kyber crystals are like old-fashioned incandescent light bulbs, and tend to burn out through use, with a certain percentage needing to be replaced after firing. That correlates well with the Rebels episode, which demonstrates that Kyber is not exactly the most stable substance and requires careful handling even in transit.

Point out, killing Lonni was the only way Luthen could save Lonni’s family. He had no way to get them off world, so he made it that the Empire had no reason to go after them.

I don't know, it feels the Empire would go after Lonni's family just to prove a point, especially given he was ISB. Maybe high profile figures like Perrin could pull enough strings to escape the worse, provided they manage to distance themselves enough from whoever incurred the Empire wraith and they prove they understood the lesson, but I'm afraid Lonni's family is going to be another side casualty of the war.

I had that thought too, but since Lonni was posthumously identified as a Rebel mole, I reckon his widow would’ve been hauled in for questioning to see if she knew anything.

I’m not sure Luthen did Lonni a service by killing him.
