Is this a good place to insert the race/species/template/genus/etc... debate?Every word has purpose and meaning; what is frustrating and annoying is when a term is overly misused. This is especially true for any negatively-inclined descriptor, which most commonly just become a catch-all for "thing that I dislike".
Sure, pour some gasoline into the fire.Is this a good place to insert the race/species/template/genus/etc... debate?

Ironically, I don't have any problem with Gygaxian; it works well for Gygaxian naturalism, for example. Not sure what else it would be used for. "High Gygaxian", on the other hand, I find pretentious. YMMV, I suppose."Gygaxian" too, since over the years, Gary contradicted himself enough times that almost no-one can even say what Gygaxian even is (outside of Gygaxian Prose).
Pretty sure that was EGG's goal."High Gygaxian", on the other hand, I find pretentious.
Also on the car and truck forums, there is internet fast, plus vast age differences. Some that might apply here, though also the money is different.I have no problems with these terms. It's part of the vocabulary we use to talk about the games we play.

Tuning Guy #2: Agreed, Zero-to-one-hundred speed ratio, is my pet peeve!
Tuning Guy #3: Let's not talk about High Performance Tires. Everyone uses it now. It's just marketing.
