Technically related, I just got a directional freezing rig set up to make clear rocks. Excited to build up a stockpile.

Thought I may attempt a belated birthday beer. Nopes. Sigh

The other new one from the trip to the Northwoods.

Rhoades' Scholar Stout from South Shore Brewery in Ashland Wisconsin. "A tribute to beer designer, Allen Rhoades, a fellow brewer who captured a blue ribbon at the Western Washington State Fair." 6.3% ABV and 35.5 IBU.

A solid stout with more coffee than chocolate, but neither to an overwhelming extent.

I don't have a picture, but last night I had Dill & Ted's Excellent Pickle Lager from Fieldwork. It was so good that I laughed.

New shrubs maturing. Orange with a champagne vinegar, ginger peach with a vinegar blend and plumcot with white wine vinegar.

I've never tried a pickle one before... Will add that to the list.
