watching time pass via tv show

so, I'm watching a season 3 episode of the OG L&O and the plot is A Jewish Holocaust survivor is accused of killing his wife in order to hide his identity as a wanted war criminal who worked with the Nazis during World War II. I realized that since we're getting to the point of no living witnesses/survivors this story line no longer works.

And the last episode that dealt with the actual holocaust is in season 14, which aired in 2004.

Isn't Punisher in the Live Action shows, an Afghanistan vet?
Yeah. In the Ultimate Marvel universe they might have updated it to him being a veteran of the 1st Gulf War and in other iterations he's a veteran of some fictional war also in a jungle. In Garth Ennis' twelve run Punish series in 2000, Frank was still a Vietnam veteran which would have put him in his 50s at the youngest. He was a captain in the US Marines during Vietnam, and with the youngest army captain being 21 years of age, it was certainly possible for a young man of 25 or so to have been a captain. So assuming Castle was born in 1942, he would have been pushing 60 in 2000.

Not limiting this to television shows, The Fast and the Furious franchise started out with an undercover cop trying to bust the good guys who were hijacking electronic equipment like combo DVD/VCR machines. I currently have neither machine in my home at this time though I still have some DVDs lying around.

Netflix asked me if I wanted to rewatch Titans (Arrowverse). I did not dislike it the first time so I said yes.

We rewatched the first season and the season 2 two-episode capstone. It was better than I remember. It is hard-boiled. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 3. Not sure we will continue because the first arc ends on a good note. They go there separate ways in search of answers. Maybe in a few months when we have no other shows on the To watch list.

But the sci-fi tech, does look dated (2014). Ten years is a lot of time.

I didn't really notice the tech that much when I rewatched it last year. But I do suppose I would if I watched it again now that you mentioned it.
I liked the later seasons of Titans, although more so for it showing the backstory of the original team than the stuff they did with the new kids. I was reading DC at the time the original storyline in the comics was happening, so I'm glad they did a decent job of portraying it in the show.
It's one of the series I cycle through on rotation as something to watch while doing chores or eating dinner, etc.

Law and Order: pre 9/11 and post 9/11. Blue Bloods: the various public relations issues the police deal with.
Two different series but the equipment and procedures used on Emergency! and Chicago Fire.

I mentioned upthread about medical Dramas ER and The Pitt.

On The Pitt they pull out a machine to help do CPR, that wasn't around during the 90s/early 00s

On ER, there was a subplot in a couple of episodes over the use of TPA and now it's done without a second thought along with other treatments.

Specifically it is a Toronto edition of Criminal Intent. As a Canadian who has ever enjoyed Law & Order I definitely appreciate having it.
I think my Mom is recording that one, so I might give it a go. L&O: CI was my favorite version, edging out the original.

I’m curious whether the Toronto CI version will keep the “Holmes & Watson” dynamic of the original CI, or if they’ll take a different approach.
