I understand this is the episode that introduced the Breen. They seemed not all that compared to their portrayal on Discovery S5!

Remember the Breen have had 800+ years to reach where they are in Star Trek Discovery.

And apparently their true appearance was a mystery in-universe up until that season, despite Kira and Dukat stealing their uniforms in this episode.

"Rejoined" is a real tearjerker! I'm with Kira on that Trill taboo. I can see what you guys mean about Season 4 being where DS9 really gets good.

Although ... S4 is also where we get adult Rom asking his mother to disrobe and then laying his head in her naked lap, so ...

I see that Kira not only gets a new hairdo but also a new uniform as well! Both hairdo and uniform are so much better than the old ones.

Why don’t the other Bajorans (and Odo) get new uniforms too?

I don’t remember when it is, but if you’re interested in odo’s wardrobe change (aka himself manifesting his body to be clothing) watch for the belt…. I never noticed the change until another episode Kira calls attention to it.

I did see the belt briefly in an earlier season but then it vanished. Does it come back again later?

I’ve read that Rene liked the belt after first getting to wear it as his mirror version, but it seems the wardrobe change didn’t last (at least not right away).

And remember Odo does....somehow....make a working Bajorian Communication Badge too.... (but then when Odo becomes any animal he can do it Perfectly......but yet the "human face" is too hard)

I think he says at one point he’s a very convincing pigeon to humans but wouldn’t be at all convincing to another pigeon. I think he just carries the badge around with him (presumably it’s waterproof).

The one thing I wish they'd explained is why all the Changelings look like Odo, when Odo is attempting to look like the scientist who raised him. I wish they'd thrown in at least a brief explanation of "we took on this form to try and convince you to stay" or something.
