Not really. When going back and watching early seasons of DS9, Sisko with hair is always one of the most jarring things.

Recall that I did not originally watch past early season 3, so Sisko with hair and no goatee is what I was used to.

Yeah, sorry, poor phrasing on my part, I was intending it more as a commentary on the transition in general, not your perception of it.

Thanks. No worries. I'm sure I will eventually get used to it and then maybe I, too, will look back at early Sisko and think his hair looks strange!

For me it was the opposite. After seeing Brooks as Hawk, in "Spenser: For Hire", my brain couldn't accept him with hair and no Van Dyke.
