I do have some good news. I got part of the route gave up back. The woman who took it over needed help with it. The help she brought in was unreliable. She's handling the places with long walks. I do have to get once but it's a short walk and places I can hold on to. She's paying me in cash so that's a big help too.

Has anyone else noticed that in the original Night of the Living Dead, the zombies had some intelligence? The first one moved tree branches out of his way. He used a rock to smash the car window, and tried the car door handle. They were afraid of fire. One picked up one of the torches. It seems to me that the living were the unintelligent ones. Fighting each other, making bad choices, shooting dude buddy at the end.

That's rare this early. A couple of northern counties have closed schools tomorrow.

We’re starting to get some fall weather here in D/FW. Miss Dog is seemingly enjoying the cooldown.

So am I. Cooler weather means I can wear my clothes in layers, displaying a bit more fashion & style.

I love cold weather. I don't dress in layers.

And I've never been a fashion and style guy. lol I did actually put on a coat and long pants tonight.

And yet, here in southern New England, we've only had one real frost so far, lol... The lowest temps it's hit so far was 33.

It went down to 29 here last night. No record breaking temps but this is the earliest snow I can remember. Where I live it was just flurries but there was some accumulation in the north at higher elevation.
