Who Should Gal Gadot Play In The New DCU?

I am sure you are all aware that there is a lot of negative talk around Gal Gadot for reasons that we do not need to nor are permitted to get into here. But yet another Facebook post about casting a new Wonder Woman for the New DCU had me realize I have yet to see a related question that could actually be interesting to contemplate: who could Gal Gadot play in the New DCU? Obviously we have Jason Momoa coming back as Lobo. Is there another character of significant if not extravagant profile whom Gadot would be eminently suited to play?

You can also answer this question for anyone else who has already appeared in a DC movie. Other than maybe Cavill or Miller.

I'm confused. If they are replacing Gadot as WW for the reasons to which you allude, why would they cast in a new role? That would be really wierd.

Well they are doing it for Jason Mamoa (he will not be Aquaman but instead will be Lobo)....so I think that is what spured the question.


now personally, I do think its silly to remove your old leads...just to put them in new roles. I respect if your starting fresh that you want to be new actors to showcase that this is a "new suite of movies not connected to the old ones". I can fully understand that...but then don't muddy the waters by bringing those actors back in anyway.

She’s Israeli, did her mandatory military service, and has some opinions about related matters. Others have opinions about such things, too. That’ll help your research along.

Lemme tell ya, writing at that level of detachment takes some work. But I think I’ve avoided saying anything that would cross the lines.

The only criticism I've heard is that she's a terrible actress. I haven't heard any other criticism about her until now.

Probably more to do with them rebooting the DCU, they've already replaced superman and people loved Henry Cavill.

I can't think of any roles for her, but then I'm not that knowledgeable about DC comics. I'm glad they're recasting wonder woman, hopefully this time it'll be an actress who actually looks like a super strong warrior woman.

You don't have to look super strong to have supernatural strength. Buffy the Vampire Slayer wasn't buff either. Or Lynda Carter for that matter. Kimberly Kane fills out the costume nicely.

Give Adrianne Paliki a chance since her show never got picked up.

No. Gal Gadot is just plain terrible IMO.
Momoa is also pretty bad, but he may just be decent enough for the narcistic Lobo...
I dunno we will see.
