Good to see I'm not the only one who has love for "Solo". Considering that Ron Howard had to salvage it like something out of a Mos Eisley drainpipe, I think it came out OK.

Solos not bad snd holds up better on rewatches. Its probably comparable to RoTS or a bit better ymmv.

I am skeptical that Lord and Miller produced something bad. They have an excellent track record. I think it's more likely that it was a little too crazy for Lucasfilm, which is a pretty conservative and nervous organization.

The Solo Millenium Falcon was how I started to collect SW stuff. Other than the actual movies that is.

It took the fall for The Last Jedi. The angry fanmob couldn't take back having watched it and lashed out on the next movie instead.

Too bad I couldn't watch it on time. I was in the middle of finals and thought it would last at least a month in theaters.

IMO, Solo is a decent SF movie, and a decent SW movie. I just feel it doesn’t match well with how Han Solo was presented in the original trilogy. I was expecting something more like Cassian in Andor S1.
