Closing a thread simply because a moderator personally disagrees with the premise feels like an abuse of moderation power. And using the fact that this was my first post as a reason? What a way to discourage new posters. Everyone is a first-time poster at some point, so are we saying people can only post things moderators already agree with?
Forums exist so people can discuss and debate ideas — especially new ones like AI being used for DMing. When threads get shut down prematurely, it discourages participation and ultimately hurts the community.
I’ve seen this happen before on other forums. In a flight simulator community, heavy-handed moderation around VR discussions slowly killed the conversation. Ironically, VR later became the most popular way to fly sims — but that forum no longer exists.
Just a heads-up to the admins: over-moderation like this can become a real forum killer if people feel discussions are being shut down arbitrarily.

You can ban me but the damage is already done as I won't be participating anymore.

Not just the moderator, the owner of the site. And if you read the rules, you'd know these requests would be handled privately or at the very least in the correct forum, so it looks like you didn't read the site rules before posting. Perhaps AI could have helped you with that...

What’s more concerning is how complacent everyone seems to be with this kind of moderation. I’ve seen this before. I’ve seen the caustic affect of a small clique controlling the discussion, bolstered by heavy-handed moderation that slowly pushes people away. That forum doesn’t exist anymore.
