I watched Judge Dredd again yesterday. It's been years since I saw it last. Say what you will about it being a bad movie. I probably won't disagree. It should get recognized for the costume and set designs which were epic. I also think they gave a good idea of how mega the megacity was. I think this movie tried to be on a grand scale. The Karl Urban Dredd was smaller in scope.

I'm not getting my hopes up just yet, but my nephew might be coming over tomorrow to roll up a bardbarian. He wants to combine Ed and Holga from the D&D movie.

This will be a first time for him.

I'm thinking of encouraging him to start as a barbarian with perform skills at first. Choose a background that allows perform skills.

Since he first mentioned wanting to play the concept I thought of rolling a druid to be his companion. I might try instead a full bard to act as a mentor. That way, as he learns to play the game and gains a better idea of how things work he'll have an in game way of multiclassing. I'll use the thread to have some fun.

I'm tempted to arm myself with some limericks.
