It’s a bit sad. I was in my early 20s when I started posting on Eric Noah’s site.

Born at the tail end of 1990, so younger-mid millennial depending on which source I follow. Seems I fall into being one of the youngins on this site.

I was born in 1973. Certainly the period in which we grow up influences us, but I think this whole idea of "generations" is completely absurd.

I always considered the Winter of Discontent less like the Winter of Hate and closer to the Winter of Mild Annoyance (perhaps one of the reasons it's so often misstated to be the Winter of our Discount Tent, which sounds like a bad time, but hardly worth getting your bile up over). Personally, I found the Winter of Ennui the most insufferable, but again, not worthy of actual hate.
