"The problem with that plan, is that it gives him the initiative. If he doesn't know when or how we're coming, we have the advantage. Let him come to us, and it's up to him to decide who to bring with him. I think we'd have a better situation if we can identify and approach each of our targets separately. Though I admit that if we're going to do that, we need to do it quick, because if they don't know we're coming yet, they will when they find Thomas."

We can then ambush whoever comes back to 'find Tomas' and get them to tell us what we need to know. Mikara's ways seem *very* effective. Once we have our information, we can come back here and devise a plan and sleep on it."

"Oh, when you get to be my age, you learn a thing or two. But the way you wield that falchion of yours, I am not sure how many tips I can give you. You seem to be quite proficient with the blade. But I'd be happy to talk tactics with you someday, if you wish." Ceryx says with a grin of his own.
With the topic of combat at hand, Mikara seems to get a little serious.
"Well, I'm not so sure that I could be called 'quite proficient'. I saw how you wielded yours. Even in the middle of a strike I noticed that you were able to make changes to the angle and thrust. I could never do such a thing on the spot. I simply have tricks. The darkness creates bulls-eyes on my foes vital spots, and with a little distraction, even a child could hit a bulls-eye. They stand out to me like a torch in the night. My style of fighting is effective... but I wouldn't say that I am nearly as proficient in the blade as you are. I could show you how to let the darkness converge on your foes vital spots if you wanted. Of course, I'd have to take you through my guilds initiation rites. How did you learn all that you did with your blade?"

While saying nothing, Andrec's definitely in on this plan. He gets moving immediately. Once we get there, he will take up a watcher's position inside the door (less obvious). "If any of you need a chance to rest, I will stand guard."
