After quietly taking his share of the loot, Alastair thanks his companions, and takes his leave of the feast early. Looking back and listening to the distant laughter and shouts, he smiles to himself.
"This was a fine beginning."
Ben, thank you for running the game. I enjoyed it and I'd be...
"Agreed, the rest of you are in no shape for further confrontation. Edith dear, lets get you back to your father."
I think we're done here. Alastair will sneak ahead and head for the exit to the warehouse, making sure no one has come up behind us.
Alastair plucks the ebony rod from the pile. After a moment examining it, he sucks in his breath, and the beginning of a smile creeps across his face.
"Yes, this will do...this will do nicely."
I presume no one objects to me taking the Warlock item :)
While Alastair removes Edith's bonds, he attempts to comfort the girl.
"There, there child. Nothing to be afraid of. Just a big smelly fish with delusions of grandeur...that talked. We'll have you back to your father in no time."
He seems genuinely relieved that she's unharmed though he...
Alastair glares at Lucias with his hypnotic eyes, and the corrupted fisherman grabs his head in agony. The gnome then quietly moves towards Edith, seemingly undetected by Lucias.

Not that it matters (because Hake missed), but shouldn't the penalty to hit have been -5? From my reading of the stealth rules, unless he made his perception check, I was still hidden even after moving the curtain.
Alastair transforms into mist, and reappears closer to the curtain. Covered in shadow, he silently approaches the brocade and draws it back to peer behind it.

Alastair fires another bolt at Glupnik but it dissipates harmlessly against the creatures foul hide.
"No, this abomination cannot be allowed to live another minute."
The gnome releases another blast of dark energy and this time it strikes true.
Smiling to himself, he skulks further back to...
Alastair continues to circle around the terrible fish beast. A dark bolt of energy leaps out from his wand and strikes the creature with great effect.
Move: Move to H10, triggers Shadow Walk (concealed)
Standard: Eldritch Blast at Glupnik, 1d20+4=24 1d10+1d6+4=11 Crit! for 16 damage.
Alastair continues to scrutinize Glupnik as he skulks behind the rock. Silently cursing his opponent, he summons witchfire to scorch the monster. However, the horrible Glupnik seems to resist the worst of its effect.

Alastair hops back from the fish man, cursing the creature. The gnome's eyes light up, and the ill-fated fish foe collapses in a fit of mental anguish.
As his opponent falls, Alastair disappears and pops up behind the rock. He peeks his head out, carefully sizing up Gluplik.
"Aren't you a...
As the guard falls under Dante's relentless assault, Alastair appears out of thin air standing next to one of the fish men. He glares at his fishy foe, and his eyes briefly gleam with brilliant colors.
The foe collapses under the mental assault, and Alastair blinks out again, only to reappear...
