General Index of Dungeons and Dragons Monsters?

A great resource for D&D 3.5 is the d20 SRD (again, doesn't include the non-SRD monsters like beholders or mind flayers, etc.): https://www.d20srd.org/indexes/monsters.htm

General Index of Dungeons and Dragons Monsters?

I know, but it doesn't mean there isn't a Google doc somewhere with a master list separated by edition.

General Index of Dungeons and Dragons Monsters?

Because of the restrictions of the OGL SRD, I don't think you'd be able to find a legitimate master index, as many of the monsters aren't included in the SRD and therefore can't be reprinted (or re-indexed) elsewhere. There will definitely be homemade indexes, as it would be an amazing resource...

    Creating a game

I just used the official D&D 5e SRD: https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/systems-reference-document-srd The Open Gaming License (OGL) means you can use the information in the SRD as long as you follow the OGL guidelines. You don't need to use a specific company, you can do everything...

    Creating a game

I'm right in the thick of self-publishing at the moment. Have a PDF live on DriveThruRPG and had printed copies made to sell on Amazon and Etsy. I went the OGL route, using the 5e SRD. This method is much easier than building your own system from scratch and easier for your prospective audience...

5E Using all 6 abilities for saves

I've created some monsters and magic items that use Charisma saves; one of them is a magic mirror that pulls you inside if you fail the save. Essentially you're using the power of your own self-image to counter the magic. I've also had some effects that use an Intelligence save to defend...

5E Pricing question for the DMs and GMs out there

Cool, thanks for the feedback. The goal is to be able to just pick up and play. I've got them printed already, but do plan a Kickstarter at some point. Possibly for the follow-up to this one, which is nearly ready to go

5E Pricing question for the DMs and GMs out there

Absolutely fair question. There's a wilderness area and town, with NPC encounters in areas of the town. The dungeon rooms are laid out as follows, with a mini-map on each spread. Takes up a bit more room but was one of the design goals I had in mind.

5E Pricing question for the DMs and GMs out there

Hi all, I'm finding my way around indie TTRPG publishing. How much would you expect to pay for a physical copy of an A5-sized 5e adventure module? 54 pages 10 dungeon rooms 6-8 hour for 3-5 level 1 characters 20 illustrations Full colour cover I've currently priced it at £17.99 on Amazon...

Release [5e] The Howling Caverns (introductory horror adventure)

Hi all, I'm new to the forum, still finding my way. I'm a writer, illustrator, and indie publisher. Last year I published my first module on DriveThruRPG, The Howling Caverns, and had a limited print run. I've now reprinted the module and it's more widely available in the UK (still sorting out...
