Well I'd say check the Archives of Nethys. It has all the official Paizo stuff there and it's pretty easy to get through. You can look through what you like and get a good idea of what you want to do.
Well it seems like it would depend on what kind of art you're trying to make really. If it's just sketching/drawing then just Craft: Drawing or Sketching would work like others have suggested. Going beyond that would be other types of skills, depending on how detailed you wanted to get with the...
Well it kind of depends on how you define "surprise" really. When I have a character going through a dungeon he (or she) fully expects there to be traps of some kind. It's never as easy as walk in and walk out. Now as to knowing what kind of trap to expect and always being on guard that's...
Hey All I didn't notice this particular page last night when I was looking around, was really tired at the time. I wanted to bring the old Bladesinger kit back as a base class of sorts for a campaign world I'm working on (currently the history of which is undergoing a rewrite as I'm unhappy with...
Hey all
Okay. I'm trying to work out a build for a base class build of the old Bladesinger kit from the 2.0 days and, unfortunately, the suggestion forum over at Paizo's site isn't as helpful as I was hoping it would be. Does anyone know of a good homebrew site that I could post to so that I...
Yeah, the problem is keeping them at distance. The player knows they have to get closer to get the touch ac, and certain bonuses dependent on archetype or if they get a bonus to damage for being in the first range increment. (I think, I could be wrong there) But they also know that if they go in...
Yeah, the problem is keeping your enemies at distance. The player knows that they have to get close, but they also know that they can't get too far away from the party. In the end it's all about balancing the encounter to the right level of difficulty that you need it to be.
I haven't played a Magus at high level, sorry. My only real experience with one is playing one in Pathfinder Society and I dropped out of that after a really bad experience at a con. Since a Magus uses a spellbook one thing I would recommend is making sure to check cities that you visit to see...
Uhm how exactly does that work? Because if a GM tried to fiat that I missed a trap when I, or one of my friends, had the skill to find it I can pretty much assure you that there would be a huge argument about it. You're negating a character's class feature at that point, and it seems like you're...
Alright. It appears that I wasn't clear about something here. The reason that I left role playing out of my original comparison was because the question was about mechanics. I know about role playing a character because that's what I do, if all I wanted to do was chuck dice I'd go to Vegas...
The touch AC that firearms aim for only applies to the first range increment. After that it's the normal AC of the target. So if you can keep a Gunslinger at a distance, they're nowhere near as effective. It's when you let them get close that they become dangerous.
Alright. I was a D&D player from 2e through 3.5. I really didn't like what I saw with 4e so my group kept with 3.5 until we got to play Pathfinder, and we've really enjoyed that so far. Now I've read about D&D Next and the whole classes and subclasses thing (which to be honest I am NOT liking...
