    Aeon (updated 10/9/14)

I don't mind at all. I would have to be pretty arrogant to assert a right to be considered, given as all I did was cut and paste. I don't envy you the task of translating some of this recondite vocabulary. If the target language has a good translation of Jack Vance you might find some good...

I haven't heard any response from Sep at all. Sorry!

    Tales of Wyre

I would have thought that Tales of Wyre was impossible to publish, due to the presence of so much intellectual property belonging to WotC. I'll see if I can get in touch with Sep, but it has been quite a few years since I last communicated with him. As for the artists... Man, I'll have to...

How do I Get Rid of the Facebook Twitter Etc Thing?

Just chiming in, here. I too find the side-doohickey very distracting and unpleasant. Mind you, I mostly just lurk nowadays. And check to see if Tales of Wyre has updated. ;) edit: This was on Firefox, btw. Oh, and I added the "addthis" thingies to the adblock filter and the widget disappeared!

    September what are you reading?

Steven Gould's Exo (fourth in the "Jumper" series) came out yesterday on Kindle. I devoured it first thing in the morning, and then in the afternoon I read it again. :D It's wonderful. Gould's Jumper, Wild Side and (to a lesser extent) Helm are all books I've read many times. He has a gift of...

    Aeon (updated 10/9/14)

And I'm quoted in it! (Near the bottom) I have to disagree with Eadric being a chaste hero, though. Except early on - but after he started dating Soneillon...

    [July] What are you reading?

The third novel of "Harry Potter and the Natural 20" has started over at fanfiction.net. (It's called "Harry Potter and the Save-or-Die" but is just appended to the end of the first two volumes for convenience.) I'm very excited about it - I thought the author had lost interest. Basically the...

    [July] What are you reading?

Continuing my superhero binge. I finished the Edgewood Series by Karen McQuestion and Christopher Nelson's The Fire in My Eyes. I didn't particularly care for either of them. Edgewood is a teen-superhero novel; every sixteen years a small number of teenagers gets superpowers, which reach a...

    [July] What are you reading?

I read Charles Stross's latest Laundry Files novel yesterday: The Rhesus Factor. Imaginative, complex plot, lots of heart. And incredible writing: How can you not love a book that includes writing like the following? Great book, but if you haven't read any of the Laundry Files, you should...

    Aeon (updated 10/9/14)

Has anyone done any fan-fic set in the story universe? It would be kind of neat if an author with a good thesaurus and a lot of esoteric knowledge tried their hand at advancing the story.
