Actually, the DL elves are the ONLY elves I like. Why? They are flawed and play a major part of their own current problems. Far more interesting than the nifty whizbang I got a sword AND sling spells in my oh so cool way elves.

Really don't have a problem with how things are done except that a product should not be in both the best adventure and best campaign. Choose one, it aint both.

Dwarves all the way. Who cares about the limp wristed, pointy eared, leafeaters? Although, I will admit that elven men are often far prettier than human women...but that aint a good thing now is it? :p

I dunno, I can sit down with one of my old AD&D modules and run it in C&C without needing to do any before hand prep work to convert it. Can do the same running an AD&D game using a C&C module.

You are correct, I don't recall it being all that small either. 32 pages or so plus an illustration book and a three panelled cover. In comparison to other modules at the time it definately weighed in a bit more than the others in that regards. Ghost tower was what, 20 pages?

Good point. And I plead guilty. I know I've purchased more than one copy of several of their products (and 5 PHB's :o ) . That aside, I'd be willing to bet that a small percentage of 1st edition players will pick up the C&C Wilderlands as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing these...

I may be overly optimistic but I honestly believe it will be. I believe many underestimate the so called "small-sliver". Conventional RPG "wisdom" says there is no market for small modules. Conventional RPG "wisdom" says that these niche markets are a no-go. Sure, this is far from substantial...
