While it is always a personal decision, I truly believe that doing what you are passionate about as a job is one of the best ways to make a living (or at least some extra money) Yes, there are challenges in making it a business, but the joy you get and give is worth the effort, I believe.

This sounds like an excellent idea for a new Barbarian Path. Will need to think about where in their level progression these features would happen. Also, as mentioned by another comment, need to be careful to not just copy another classes features too much.

My DM allowed max HP in our RoD campaign. Still was scary as sh*t until lvl 3. Then we all went crazy at lvl 7, so lots of HP didn’t help there...

I’ve played an Evocation wizard to 15th level, finishing Rise of Tiamat with an epic showdown. And I am currently playing a Shadow Monk. Both were thoroughly enjoyable

Put simply, my bard whispers to the character, “hey, man! You’ve got this!” That is enough to give the BI d6. No one else needs to hear it.
