Sooooo tempted but I just joined another OSR campaign so am maxed right now until of one my campaigns ends. Can't do Paranoia too. Great game though. I used to GM it in the 90s (still have the books). BTW, there are two Paranoia discords (that I know of; I'm on both).

We arecJust using it as an engine to run an add-on called skycrawl, which is the sister of downcrawl.

They don't have any restrictions for armor and weapons by class listed unless you're talking about spellcasting. a magic user cannot be more than lightly encumbered to cast spells but you can be unencumbered and still wear leather armor ... Leather armor doesn't even count towards encumbrance...

Bonus spell slots? That is clerics. I talked him into a bag of holding. Now I just need two fullsize spellbooks. LOL. Spells take 1 page per spell level, so if you had 7 lev 1, 2 and 3 spells, that is already 42 of the 50 that fit in a traveling spellbook.

Exactly. This DM is using the % to know spells. Max spells isn't an issue, Gnome with 19 INT. :)

Next time I'm in a 5E 2024 campaign, I'm looking at a Stars druid. I'll need a DM who understands that a stars druid will be very versatile and powerful. Whenever that is. maybe I'll probably run a halfling (I've never run a halfling).

You could switch to a B/X and run Downcrawl or Skycrawl as an add-on. Adds a few mechanics as well as some generators for the DM. They are system agnostic, but we are running a B/X with skycrawl and like it.
