    At-Will Magic and Arrows

Ammo tracking is one of those tedious tasks that usually only detract from the game. Any archer I've played or have seen at the table are sure to carry plenty of arrows. If we found our selves in a situation where running out of ammo was a real concern then spell casters would be equally...

Does Anyone Ever 'Recast' Monster Roles?

This reminds me of how my friend first explained the concept minions to me. At low levels an ogre is a serious threat. He's going to stick around and do some damage. Later on an ogre is just a nuisance, one solid hit and he goes away. What you have to remember is that its the same ogre.

    So, What's the Controller's 'Thing'?

    Epic Save From Fall

Except in earlier editions Spells and items specified valid targets as well. If this was 3rd ed game and the Wizard used a ring of feather fall, you would have to take just as many liberties with the rules to allow it to affect his friends.

The ability to role play using a given system, whether in or out of combat, depends upon the group in question. IF you wish to simply treat 4E combat like a board game with no regards to the characters motivations and the circumstances surrounding conflict, that is your decision. If you with to...

How do you feel about the only-general-feats direction of D&D?

Well I can understand why they would focus on only general feats from here on in. As the the number of available races and classes grow, the number of possible combination's increases exponentially. It would be hard to create interesting and well balanced feats for all of them, not to mention...

    Limiting At-Will Powers

I really don't think that limiting At will powers could work. Aside from the numerous balance issues that would arise. Spending most rounds in combat making basic attacks would be just plain boring. I've played plenty of fighters in earlier editions, enough that I wouldn't want to go back to...
