Never heard of the vault and the forge was at that sensitive time i got twins...so...I skipped most of 3.5 era
I have to check (again) what's new, I only checked barbarians
I'm up to it
I also second Golden Vault or that other path...diamond citadel or something like that?
Heist is (I think) bad format for PbP because of all the planning and if-then-else branching of such plans.
Anyhow, I'm in whatever you decide
"Grrrrr!" Lunns thoughts are much less good than his demeanor. "Don't like this. Never have. But yes, we need it." There is heavyness, some vast presence looming behind his thoughts as if he's only a front for something much, much bigger.
"Umm, guys." Lumrolur looks unsure of himself for the first time since they've known him
"I know these things. The map represents duergar parts of the Underdark and we might need to consider letting the dwarves know about Blackaxe."
Looking at the bolts he puts the stone next to his face to...
"If you can hit me with that pass without trace, I could go alone. I'm not as quick as Tommi, but I do see in the darkness." Lunn offers
"And if you trust your beast to obey without you being present, I could use such a stalwart companion."
Lumrolur nods at the advice

Meh, I agree with Tommi this time - trolls aren't (shouldn't be) too smart - cunning and ambush-capable...sure, but smart? If we are obvious they might just attack
What I worry is that we have no idea if there are three of them or the whole tribe - if we're badly outnumbered we might as well...
"This place cannot defend against the giants. And we don't know they are not agents of Reds or the Titan." grumbles Lunn
"We don't need them deciding they don't want to attack the inn and return right across our backs."
Lumrolur waits for a bit before returning to his table near the stairs. It is unfortunate that they caught on on his ruse, but he was never the one to easily fool anyone. He awaits opportunity to cause havoc in other small ways, looking to pilfer small items from passing patrons, preferably...
This is the plan where guards come to investigate, but if they lose dogs or something else happens during chaos, all the better.
In a totally unrelated vein - 5e disguise self does not grant +10 (PF), +5 or even advantage on the disguise rolls?!?!?!
@Quickleaf - small chance of success, I'll...
