Yeah, works for me as well. It might be a good idea to have a wee sidebar somewhere explaining this, but it's not something I would be up in arms about at all.
You certainly can, but to me having the player's guide be a separate book AND a part of the adventure book seems rather redundant. I'd prefer GM-specific material in those pages, such as expanded/additional encounters; material that expands on the organizations, locations, and other...
Keep them separate, I say. It just seems easier and less risky to hand the players a player's guide than handing them the book containing the actual adventures.
#1: The Island at the Axis of the World - Ryan Nock
#2: The Dying Skyseer - Ryan Nock
#3: Digging for Lies - Matthew J Hanson
#4: Always on Time - Jacob Driscoll
#5: Cauldron-Born - Thurston Hillman
I imagine that, in addition to writing parts of the adventure path, Ryan's role is very much...
I can only speak for myself, of course, but I would certainly use them. I've done so in the past for other Kickstarters and it's helped direct one or two my fellow gamers toward the Kickstarter in question. I can't say how small or big an impact Facebook/Twitter cover images have on a...
Speaking of publicity, it's likely that you've thought of this already, but I'd suggest creating images for us to help spread the word (Facebook cover images and such).
While the rather erratic release schedule for the invidual Zeitgeist installments is a concern for me as it raises questions about any intended release date for the Kickstarter book(s), I'm quite excited about this Kickstarter. It would mean cancelling my backing of one or two other Kickstarters...
Oh I agreed about one big hardcover being a beautiful object. I own several already and have a few on the way through various Kickstarters. So yeah, as a collector, I'd love to own a single Zeitgeist hardcover. However, I've learned that hardcovers like the one we're talking about aren't...
I'd pledge in a heartbeat. Personally I think splitting the campaign into 3 hardcovers is the way to go because, as you said, one single hardcover will be insanely huge and it'll take a very long time for the book to be released.
As for what I'd like to see in a Kickstarter, I'm a sucker for...
That certainly makes sense. In any event, it's not a big deal. Just one of those things I noticed as the books stood next to my Pathfinder adventure paths which, admittedly, are published in a 96-page format enabling text on the spine. The Zeitgeist books stand out well enough with the unique...
While I'd definitely pledge if a Kickstarter for a hardcover compilation of the Zeitgeist adventure path was to happen at some point in the future, I've purchased softcover versions of the three first adventures in the adventure path and I'm very pleased with the purchase. The physical quality...
Are there any plans to collect the adventures in a compilation book once all 13 adventures have been released? If so, will this happen for both versions (4e and Pathfinder RPG)?
Apologies if this information is already available somewhere. I couldn't find anything to answer my question.
