    I like the idea of a skeleton familiar and it would obviously make my idea so much easier to implement however I'm concerned that it would not be potent enough at later levels whereas a cohort would.     I didn't think of full plate armour! :) By fifth level I could probably afford some of that which would go a long way to disguise "Bob" for the most part. Even a very good spot check shouldn't be able to see past that at my level and maybe a few more after. Why the raven though?
