I believe the cap on that is 20d6 as well. However you can do it with fun thing, have greased ledges sloping downwards so if someone falls each ledge deals the 20d6 and they slide off it to fall to the next one.

I understand the benifits to being able to go the whole battle without getting swiped at once, but to do that requires two feats (Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot) unless you want a -4 on each attack, you have to worry about cover, you don't deal nearly as much damage, and without arrowmind...

There's a druid spell that lets you grow roots and sink in. You get some benifits like fast healing and such, but can't move.

WHAT? I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood. I feel this is like my DM telling me that my pixie rogue's innate greater invisibility is powergaming. How exactly is archery so advantageous if you're not a scout or a rogue? (and even then?)

By the RAW, you can make a sneak-attack breaking invisibility and such with anyshot and get the bonus on each arrow. Rapid shot only lets you get the first one. (Via Errata)
