I'll say things again, differently : I have tried to port over the character concepts I had in PF1E to 2E, and despite the more limited options, I found the new system worked better on all accounts.
YMMV of course.
There is one thing I love on PF2E over all other editions : you do not need to build one trick ponies to be effective.

Honestly : regardless of how good the seeting might be : Who can believe funding an MMO with 100 KUSD while those are budgets in tens of millions usually ?

That seems just awful to me as you cut yourself off some very useful lower level spells + seems to have no consistent logic with the rest of the game
Another subject though. The Solspace adventure "Diehard" seems interesting.
How system-reliant is it ? Say, I have just bought the aliens RPG, and I would not like to learn a new system to run it. Would it work ?
