i too would say that the rogue gets to sneak attack , because he gets combat advantage against anyone who has not acted yet...
but nobody else gains ca against somaone with alertness...
my oppinion...
with 3 armor proficiency feats a wizard can wear plate!!
but with a high int hide is the better choice...
wiz with plate : 18 ac
wiz with hide and 20 int : 18 ac
but hide costs 2 feats.... i´d rather spend one feat for leather and would still have a 17 ac with 20 int...
every time i created a new character i sprincle the sheet with wax , beer , wine and coffee to give it "character" and after this point each character has different kinds of strenghts and weaknesses regarding rolls..
example: my druid always rolled high on listen but failed almost every spot...
how do you plan to handle encounter area layout?
are you showing the whole encounter area or just the parts the PCs can see?
i personally show them only what their characters are able to see of the area...
so it´s a lot of fun when they get pushed to other parts o the area and encounter even...
