Hi Tysr, we never heard back from you about getting your signet on a bag, drop us an e-mail if you're still interested.

On those cheap bags, yeah we saw those. We could do something like that, but since we're perfectionists, we'd just have to do them better. The ones we saw closed with a cheap leather drawstring just run through the top row of rings.

If y'all are really interested, we'll talk to our chain mail guy and see what pricing we can work out. Also, to give us an idea of what you're wanting, what size chain mail bags would you be interested in? Our small bag is 4"x5", our medium is 7"x8" for reference. They could be squared off (like the cheap ones) or rounded. We'd be using 1/4" aluminum rings, so they won't tarnish. Let us know.

As for my signet: Well, it's gonna depend on if you offer chainmail at a price I can afford I suppose, but if I do... I took some time and look around on the net, and found the font that the guy who made my ring must have used as a base... the "D" in my signet is a capital D from the font "KellyAnnGothic"... Does it help to have a font of it, or would it just be done as an image?

Personaly, I think, in chainmail, a rounded medium size would be what most people would go for... or it is what I would go for anyhow :D

What would make your bags so much different from the other ones though, other than using aluminum? (Nice touch for more than just tarnishing too... I have a steel chain tunic which weighs a ton, and even given that its a lot smaller, my alluminum coif is like wearing air compared to that thing... And since alot of gamers wear their dice bags on their belt in transit to the game (at least the ones I know), I suspect you might get some letters about public flashing if you used steel ;) )

I have that font on my PC, so, if you just want the "D" that would be easy.

Medium- rounded is what we were thinking too. As for what would make ours different: we have found the coolest thing to close a chain mail dice bag:

Curse you, Paladin!!

If you keep posting stuff like this, you're going to force me to order one, and it sounds waay to expensive for my puny budget! =P

I'm trying to see exactly what that is...

It looks like one of those things you use to stretch across a doorway to keep babies or pets out of a room...

How does that work?

I'd buy that for a dollar or thirty

For what it's worth, I'd pay $30 or $35 for a lined (medium) 7" x 8" chainmail bag with a good product warranty.

I'd do it tomorrow, in fact. :D

We're sorry! :D We are going to do some hardcore negotiating with our chain mail guy and see what we can do to lower the pricing. We have a pretty good idea on how to cut the price down significantly.....

Pretty close actually. It's an expanding gate, stainless steel bag closure. It expands to a 6" diameter opening. When you close the gate, the cap clamps down over it and keeps it closed.
