IMO, of course. But I have a hard time seeing that 90% of all art in third party books out there are better than this. I really can't see it.

The fact that these covers aren't illustrated with crayons, or worse, by Boris Vallejo, discounts the 90% theory.

I guess they still didn't do the "faded white" on the brand logo. We still have that stark white bar at the top. Maybe they want it to gain attention on the shelf, i dunno, but some of the other books look better when it is semi-transparent and you can see the background through it.

Damn, i really hate the dragonborn in that picture.

I was having a conversation and a friend of mine shared a tought about WAR´s art that made me look at it with diferent eyes: the way he draw the legs, as aways taking a step forward. Today i can tell a picture is draw by him just loking to the leg, it make half of his draw´s a bit boring and ordinary because they are so predictable.

In my modest opinion you have beter works than these covers!

That's also the reason why I think that WAR just suffers from bad art direction in this case.

But the green dragon picture is shweeet!

My dislike for this .... thing ... the dragonborn is wielding is greater than my dislike for the dragonborn itself. I'm not too fond of the PHB cover, but I love the DMG cover, especially the idea with the crystal ball
